Mary Eliza Rogers (Isa) James Billington Coughtrie
Mary Eliza Rogers (named after her Aunt and commonly referred to as Isa by the family) was the first child of W. Harry Rogers and Ann Lansdale. She was born in 1849 in St. Pancras, Middlesex. She married James Billington Coughtrie at an estimated time of the early 1870's, although their marriage record has never been found in British vital statistics.
They lived the first 20 years in Hong Kong, James being in the Insurance business. They had eight children, all born in Hong Kong.
